I like to think that meshi would think about events and celebrations often during the tragedy. Birthday parties, graduations, weddings. He's only briefly attended weddings as a kid but still explains as much as he can when kamukura asks about them. deep down, he wishes to see himself at the wedding altar someday too

nonbinary kamukura x meshi who cant decipher kamukura's gender and cant bring himself to ask. Hes constantly confused and kamukura finds it amusing to watch him struggle. Eventually it makes meshi realize he also kinda doesn't mind not being perceived as a boy

cat kamukura would coooonstantly have his ears down in flight mode. they would almost never be seen with their ears up. Whereas meshi would be the exact opposite

i know the jpn side of the fandom are way stricter with t/b ship name preferences but kamukoma just sounds better than komakamu. I actually don't care who puts it in it just has to be interesting. Meshikamu sounds extremely cute though but im too far in to change the way i call them now

kamukoma power dynamic is weird. Its like there are so many power unbalances and no power unbalances at all. Kamukura at mercy of meshis reactions and meshi who can never physically overpower kmkr

Detached meshi is real to me because theres no way he'd let himself get truly attached while knowing his luck cycle and the general cycle with everyone in his life. he cant find it in him to comprehend it as reality because something is definitely bound to go wrong, right?

also to add on to that, his tail would sometimes wrap or brush against angel!komaeda's leg when he's feeling particularly calmer or comfortable

devil!kamukura's tail would often be a better tell for what he's feeling than anything else. If he's irritated it'll flick against the ground. Bored? It'll sway idly. as a kid he used to wrap it around his own leg when he was nervous (if he ever was) and it midly translated into adulthood even though he doesn't get uncomfortable often

kamukura finds the odd texture of komaeda's hair interesting enough because of all the irregular curls and he often runs his hand through it. komaeda has to remind himself to breathe

kamukura often spaces out. or just stares at nothing in particular. sometimes it happens while he's looking at komaeda. komaeda is weirdly into it
